Description
Ares T-Drones-Semi-Solid Li-Ion, 6S 22000mAh
- Semi-solid Li-Ions offer greater energy density over Li-Po in the region of 30-35% – Energy Density of ~ 250Wh/Kg
- The ARES series can be discharged at up to 8C. However, it is recommended that the maximum constant discharge not exceed 5C and that charging for maximum capacity be 0.4C.
- Solid state batteries should be used to increase the flight time of already efficient Drones, such as multi-rotors already flying for 30 minutes or for Fixed-Wing.
- These batteries are recommended for the T-Drones M series. Check the drone listing to see which version of the batteries and how many match the drone.
Examples for guidance
They may not be suitable for all applications, please check the C rating and the current draw of the application, for example, the lift motors of a VTOL often have a high current draw where the forward flight motor is lower and a good use case for these batteries.
Another example would be a heavy and in efficient multirotor, if your drone has a low flight time such as a cinema rig that may fly for 5-8 minutes, these batteries will not be suitable, the current battery would be drained at around 10C (10x the capacity in 1 hour).
